Biography of Professor Hsiao-Chun Huang

  Prof. Hsiao-Chun Huang received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electronics Engineering from National Chiao Tung University and National Taiwan University in 2003 and 2005, respectively. She received Ph.D. degree in Systems Biology from Harvard University in 2010. Currently, Dr. Huang is an Associate Professor at Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology and Graduate Institute of Electronics Engineering, National Taiwan University.

  Prof. Huang’s laboratory employs bottom-up synthetic biology methodologies to understand design principles of asymmetric cell division. She is a recipient of several prestigious awards in Taiwan, including Ta-You Wu Memorial Award in 2021, Women in Science Award-Rising Talent in Taiwan in 2022, and Y. Z. Hsu Science and Technology Paper Award in 2022.
