Dr. Ruey-Dar Chang serves as Professor and Chairman of Department of Electronics Engineering, Chang Gung University. Previously he was the Director of the Center for Technology Licensing and Patents at Chang Gung University. He received B.S. degree in Materials Engineering in 1988 from National Cheng Kung University, M.S. degree from Institute of Electronics, National Chiao Tung University in 1990, and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from University of Texas at Austin in 1998. From 1990 to 1994, he was with Electronics Research and Service Organization at Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Hsinchu, Taiwan where he was engaged in the development of process simulation and device design for Submicron Project. He was a founding member of Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation, Hsinchu, where he was responsible for DRAM device design and Technology-CAD. His research interests include CMOS process modeling, doping characterization, TFT technology modeling and power devices. He served as General Chair of International Electron Devices & Materials Symposium in Taiwan in 2019. |
